ORIGINAL HARD ROCK!

[continued from main page]
No one seems to go full throttle anymore. Where’s the big cojones in Fashion, Sex, Politics or Entertainment? I mean remember when The Dixie Chicks were so “controversial” for speaking out against the Iraq invasion? These are the best rebels we’ve got? What a sad, sad state of affairs. And then there’s BitchFire.
BitchFire takes Hard Rock very seriously. In a fun way. And BitchFire is bringing Big Balls to the South Florida rock scene. Think screaming guitar, think huge, bold and powerful female vocals, think blood-pumping revenge lyrics, think of the kind rock that makes you glad to be alive, the kind of rock you want to blare and sing along with and do air guitar to, the kind of rock that makes being a rock star worthwhile! BitchFire is all that and then some! And boy, it’s just what we needed!

Fronted by Boston rock goddess Sharyn Peach, with insanely cool guitar licks by Donny Sutton-Brown, the intense Eddie D. kicking ass on drums, and Robbie Plast on bass, BitchFire is a power band of equally bold talents, each with a long time veteran status in rocking out. BitchFire’s motto may well be “More is More” as they pile on their sound, their attitude, their style, unrelentingly and without any reserve or remorse. For South Florida music fans, it’s a refreshing break from the take-yourself-so-seriously, wishing-for-a-better-day whines of many acts.

Lead singer, Sharyn Peach, is originally from Revere, Massachusetts and played in popular Boston bands including She's So Loud, Indecent Xposure, Scuba Steve, The Brat Pack and See Spot Run. Her influences include Lita Ford & Geoff Tate from Queensryche.
Lead guitarist, Donny Sutton-Brown is from Jamaica (Ya Mon!) and also formerly of Sea of Black. He was sent to English boarding school age 10 (no accent, he sounds like every white, blonde rasta). He heard Judas Priest’s “Unleashed in the East”, soon after and was floored. Donny has been a Metal Head ever since.   Bassist Robbie Plast is from Westchester, New York and has been playing in various bands including Genius and Stratovarious for over 25 years. He was heavily influenced by John Entwhistle.   Drummer Eddie D is from Albany New York and has been a drummer for over 25 years and played everything from rock to jazz to blues. His influences include John Bonham and Carmine Apice.

BITCHFIRE'S FANS
Our longtime fan, Mike Scott said it best: “They just kinda come out and hit you right in the face” Our numerous shows all over South Florida draw a wide arrange of fans. Our biggest fans seem to be the younger rock bands. They seem to appreciate the individual talents of our members and are constantly asking us for advice after the shows. In fact, many of our gigs come from the other bands asking us to join them.
